A Twist On Using Social Network & Schools To Make Cash

Nowdays when you apply for a job, they of course check your references, but increasingly, they also check any online sources --- your myspace page, facebook, ect. Some employers go as far as ask for any of your online "handles" or nicknames. They then do an online search to see if there are any "bad" things online. (ie, you posing gangster like, or doing bong hits and keg-stands with your friends, ect) They are also wanting to know any likes, dislikes ect.

Here's the idea:
Why not write an ebook targeted to sell to college seniors or recent college graduates showing them how to "plant" good stuff online for any future employers to "find". Also, how to get rid of the bad or questionable stuff and replace it with good.

You could even develop a CD with articles, news spots, and press releases on how they donated time to crippled children, the elderly, ect. They could then place those where they please, or you could provide a few sites for that purpose.

Many people don't create a myspace or facebook account with their real name, so one of the things they could do is create new accounts and populate it with "good stuff".

You might even create a small membership site with this information automatically driping out to them on a weekly basis, giving them assignments on what to do this week to polish up their image. After 6 months or so, the work is done.

Anyway, that was one idea that I think could make an easy $10 - $50 grand if you work it right.
